    Anyone use midi keyboards/controllers here?

I'm looking for a new one next week and I just wanted to get some reviews or opinions from anyone who has or does use them. Cheers

Looks nice. I've always wanted to get a midi keyboard but I don't take producing seriously enough to warrant the purchase.

Depends which type of music your gonna do, in an ideal world it would be good to have 2 if possible one with semi weighted keys and aftertouch useful for pads and complicated chords, and a cheap one with synth action keys light keys just to bash out fast hooks, depends what you want to do with it, but one with semi weighted keys and after touch is probably best, those one you can change the velocity settings aswell, cheaper ones don't have aftertouch, and you mostly can't change the velocity, I have a akai mpk 49, which is a very good keyboard, got it second hand for around 170 pounds and a basic m-audio keystation which I paid 30 quid for, both good keyboards.

    Novation Remote 37SL.

Gives the response I want when whacking a key.

    So its quite sturdy.

As for the fact I cant seem to sync it with Logic is probably down to me.

Mortis Ive also got an M-Audio midi keyboard as its light and works. Cheap, basic and it does its job.

If undecided then go for that and get that tune out of your head.

    You know you want to

that Novation looks like an awesome piece, and I read a good review about it, deffo a good buy,

Mortis, as DEX points I recommend you the basic m-audio thing, I bought a m-audio oxygen8 about 6 years ago and it still works as the first day, true that I have used and not abused of it, and that's a very basic piece of course which is enough for me and could be for you...
