Manchester Midi School is probably your best bet. they do all sorts of courses. When I was last there the DJ courses were being taught by Mark One.
I did the Audio Engineering course there and Christophe the main tutor is so knowledgeable in all areas of sound production.

bert 2612, I would practice a bit yourself first. If you feel like you need some guidance after a few months, it's worth checking out what courses are available. Most courses are adaptable in length to suit the individual, also you can choose which area of djing you'd like to focus on, i.e. scratching, beatmatching, equipment set up etc.
i never had any tuition (I don't think DJ courses existed back then though!) and I got by for many years. although I wish I'd had more guidance on a number of things.
it might be worth your while grabbing a copy of How To DJ Properly by Frank Broughton and Bill Brewster, a book containing lots of really useful advice.
