    DVS systems

OK, So whats the DVS system you lot use, I have a old Torq conectiv, I haven't set it up yet!
but hopefully it'll be ok. I nearly went mad and bankrupted myself by getting an evo 5 mixer - traktor scratch ready ($550 second hand) it's sold now so no harm done,

What do you lot use for your timecode vinyls?

    Ooooooh Yes
It was the best sounding Traktor Scratch cert mixer for the money at the time imo, when I bought it. It's spot on for flicking between vinyl and digi, with the Mackie Onyx pre amps and a top notch soundcard inside.
I just wish I knew how to change the fader curves from logarithmic to a more linear curve, it would be perfect then.

Traktor timecodes have a higher accuracy than the others, if you've not bought any vinyls yet btw, theirs have a 2KHz signal whereas the others are all 1KHz. The cracked versions will work with the conectiv quite happily. If you have the Torq vinyls, Torq 2 is supposed to be alright now, otherwise VDJ and Deckadance are both worth a download

I finally got around to setting up the torq conectiv DVS I got recently. It didn't take too long to get mixing on it, around 30 mins so pretty good, had a little mix and a mess around but found it quite difficult to mix on compared to straight vinyl, I found the tracks wouldn't sit in the mix and kept drifting, if I touched to timecode vinyl it went a bit wonky. Anyway I'm not sure this mp3 mixing will catch on to be honest, but good fun none the less.

i sold that torq connective dvs package ages ago
the software was gash. The latency of the sound device was poor
and the d.v had major sticker drift.

it also had major groundlooping problems which interferes
    with the timecode signal.

solution .. sold it on ebay saved up and bought serato !

and can tell you first hand that it is no where near as good or as tight as SSL.
