I think it happens to the best of us at times

Most of the time i can mix well and then i'll have my off days

Just a thought - but maybe you've messed with the settings by accident?

Most of the time it's just down to learning the new jog wheel. From my own experience every CD deck has a different feel to it in the same way that every turntable has a different feel on the plater. What decks are you using?

Looking at them the jog wheel looks like a load of crap to me. Try using the pitch bend if you're having trouble with the jog wheel. Wheels are fine and all but sometimes they behave quite stupidly and it can be awkward to get the mix to stay tight if it's going out of sync.

cheers mate the jogs not very sensitive at all and i have to really give it a frum nudge to get it respond to what i want it to do , will keep perserviring though as long as im enjoying it

That's your problem then. You'll probably find it's so stiff that when you try to speed up or slow the track a tiny bit it's not working so you're over doing it. I've had that a few times. Try the pitch bend instead, it should be much easier for you to work with. When I'm using pitch bend I tend to adjust the pitch at the same time. For example, bend the pitch down and adjust the pitch slider down a touch (usually about .1% or something).

Do NOT burn your CD's at a high rate (If you use CD's). I always use 12x speed. Works fine that way.
