my favourite lower priced headphone is the sony mdr xd 200, I think I paid something like £22 pounds, I had them for years and they broke and got another pair, ironically I have the earpads off the first broken pair on my rp21's(as the earpads on them were a bit uncomfortable) really good headphones for the money, and really very comfortableSony MDR-XD 200 Overhead Hi-Fi Headphones - Tesco.Direct

the bass on these phones is very good

I need some new headphones... My Numark ones are pretty shit now... Had em about 8 years & they haven't aged well!

The sound quality is amazing Leon - my only qualm with them is there is no volume adjust on them to put them through their full potential - you can get better Sennheisers for around £40 though Leon - check the htfr website as they have loads of Sennheisers on there

you'd probably want to make sure they aren't fake, they are the most faked headphones made, I have a fake pair from china, paid around £25

    not bad sounding,
but I would imagine real ones are better

edit: just dug em out and am listening to a bit of Randall 93
    pretty decent!

How do you tell the fakes from the real ones?

not too sure, the ones I got from china are pretty good fakes, but the real ones are made in the phillipines not china, so look for a made in phillipines mark

you might get lucky, tbh my fake ones are alright for the money, very bassy

unfortunately I have never heard a real pair, but they must be good if every one is making fakes, I did buy mine in the knowledge they were fake. Just checked,£18 pound my ones were
