I have a few and I used Wavepad to rip the vinyl. Its much the same as Audacity and it has a feature that you can use to remove them manually or automatically however the latter does not seem to work. Any ideas?

In audacity you zoom in until you can see dots on the waveform, you then select the pencil tool & re-draw the waveform.
Uhhh that sounds tedious![]()
"Computer games don't affect kids; I mean if Pac-Man affected us as kids, we'd all be running around in darkened rooms, munching magic pills and listening to repetitive electronic music."
just remove the pops that are louder than the music so it can be amped properly & leave the rest in. If people want to remove more pops they can do it there self (as long as its a wav rip)
i tend to find the pops on the waveform, highlight em and then mute them out.
simples
if you treat each channel independently it's even better fella.
i find that auto depop/declick programs are either totally brutal and hammer the sound as a whole or they do nothing.
