I have cut audio samples from a track that i wish to remix and i was wondering how do you make them into a loop so that they play one after another?
Any help will be greatly appreciated![]()

Make sure you have no unintended silences at the beginning and end of the part you want looped, render it was a wav then load it up into something like Acid or Cubase (for example) and timestretch it. You should only have to timestretch it a little usually. If it's just a 4 bar loop you are trying to make then make a loop 4 bars long in your DAW and see if the file loops continuously, same if it's a 1 bar loop etc.
I'm not sure if that's written out clearly enough...if you can't work it out then I'll be happy to do it for you.

I believe you use Renoise, if so as previously said cut your loop so there are no bits you dont need at either end as I have done in the picture
Click on Instrument Settings (circled in the picture)
and then tick the box next to sync (also circled) my loop in the picture is a one bar drum loop so I need to set the sync to 16, two bars would be 32, three bars 48, right mouse button on the arrows to jump through in 16s huge great long samples can be got in time in this way.
When you have it sounding right if one instance it is a one bar loop place it on your track in the pattern editor once every 16, if its two bars once every 32 etc
Hope that all makes sense!!!
Indeed
And to add to that, I've found another useful thing which I put in my last vid.
Take part of what you've got and make a perfect loop out of it (either 8, 16, 32 or 64 bars - using the sync thing).
Once you have that, press the little 'T' thing next to the sync (as I did in my vid) - this will adjust the transpose & fine tune bits with numbers.
If you then adjust your other vocal samples (of the same source) to those settings, you can turn the 'sync' off and you can play everything in perfect tempo with what you've selected.
Then just lay them into the pattern as needed.
Thanks for the replies Mortis, Harrrry & RG
I do use Renoise HarrrySo thanks for the diagram
I haven't watched the lesson 2 video yet RG![]()
Which i will do now
I'll have to work out how many bars the samples are
I think this is where i have gone wrong![]()
