how high is your set up

just wondering how high peoples dj set up , im 6 foot 5 and mines probs about 4 foot high , i know some people have them raised up and does it make it easer to mix with the decks level with there elbows

you should get used to different heights, when you go to play at a rave the decks could be any height

thats a good point mate seen some clubs have them up around your ears

but in all seroiusnus does it help mixing if they are elevated up higher than the waist

mine are set up around my nutsack aswell, but I sit down when having a mix so decks are actually level with my chest, feck all that standing up lark

My desktop is 1m high (3' 4" ish or belly button height to be precise) now, so the platters and mixer top are another 4 or 5 inches on top of that.
I'm about 6'2" and used to get backache when I had the decks lower, stooping over them all the time, but that's not an issue for me now they're higher.
I do find it harder scratching now they're higher tho, moving the xfader seems cramped after learning to scratch with my elbow above the wrist and not being able to do that now they're higher.

THATS WHAT I FIND WHEN ON A HIGHER STAND.

I LIKE TO STAND UP STRAIGHT AND HAVE THE X-FADER AND DEX AT ARMS LENGTH TBH.

I got a deckstand about four feet high, just right for me as im five eight. I hate it too low, gives me backache

im 5" 10 my turntables are just above my stomach and my cdj's are at chest level i find my turntables at just the right height but if im honest my cdjs are slightly to high.
