Oldskool Grand Master
My first drum machine.
Last night I was looking for a Roland TR-606 to use with my TB-303 clone. I found one but it was £395, too much I think so I didn't buy it. The reason I want a 606 opposed to say either the 808 or 909 are firstly the price, each around €1200 euro now. I'm also very fond of the bassdrum and the snare on the 606. So anyways I was on some sight looking at the 606 and it said "related" and a list of other Roland drum machines were listed. I saw a Roland TR-626 and clicked it. Never heard of one before but its the successor of the TR-606, Like the TR-727 being a successor of the TR-707. Anyway it was released in 1987 and after I watched some videos of it I was convinced and bought it for £139. Here is some specs and video of it.
30 drum/percussion samples.
8 polyphonic with 8 individual ouputs.
Two editable parameters: Level and Pitch (-7~+7 semitones).

Fairplay to ya, not into all that new digital stuff myself. I like simple analog hardware.
