Thread: Serato & Ableton announce Bridge

Back in October 2008 Serato and Ableton announced that they were joining forces to make their products work together to allow DJs even more flexibility for live performances.

Yesterday they finally announced what that project has been about and given some details of what users of the 2 platforms can expect.

Typically it's not currently available to download by the masses, but will be soon...and it will be free for anyone who wants it and has the Serato SL hardware.

I'm dead excited as one of the main reasons for me buying Serato was to be able to do some cool live stuff with my production partner, who uses Ableton. Hours of fun ahead methinks!

this is really cool. i just got my traktor scratch and was thinking about sending it back to switch to serato.

played with both and whilst traktor is a great platform, with this ableton hook up it's gonna get left standing out in the cold...

this is going to be amazing. i cant wait to get serato. i have torq and its ok but they are not giving it there all... i did hear avid picked them up tho...
but im over it they make you pay for the updates... weak
