I started with crappy belt drive Soundlabs & could use them perfectly... It was like a partnership with a beautiful woman, sometimes gentle & sometimes had to be hard with them

I wouldn't go back to them by choice though... I'm more than happy with my Numarks

I ordered my new decks today

I settled for this package in the end with the Citronic PD1 MK3 direct drive turntables.

DJ Equipment, Digital DJ Equipment, DJ Mixers - decks.co.uk

I was going to get Gemini's but i done my research and quite a few people have had problems with them so i went with the Citronics.

I held off getting Serato as i am not getting my new laptop till January during the sales

Plus i have decided to get Serato SL1 (£299) as it's now gone down in price and is cheaper now then SL2

Do you have a stereo downstairs with RCA ins & outs?

just plug that into the mixer & then the mixer into your PC & see if it works that way

Or even your mobile phone if it has a 3.5mm headphone jack & you have a 3.5mm to RCA lead
