Which software?
Are you recording as a wav to start with? (44.1khz stereo 16bit).
Usually when saving stuff out as an mp3, there are options to tweak to allow you to save out in different settings. Maybe the program you're using is default at 128kbs.
Also don't record at 32bit - mp3s don't like that & usually only convert from 16bit files.
& as most producers usually only make tunes in 16bit there is no advantage in ripping in 32bit.
Save as WAV & then convert to 320
Ok, in the preferences, File Formats area:
mp3 export setup bit - click the library bit & find the lame_enc.dll file.
Then change the setting from 128 to 320.
Hopefully that'll sort it (although you will need that dll file on the pc & know where it is).
PS - here is the lame_enc.dll file if you haven't got it (you can store it anyway, but that audacity will need to point to it for it to work).
lame_enc.dll
i think i cracked it its coming up as 320 now, one more question ,whan im recording wavs i amplify 0.1 , do i do the same with mp3s ?

It'd probably make more sense to rip them as wavs & then convert them with NCH Switch (free) to 320 which takes seconds...
