    1411 kbps

    1411 kbps sounds good

I got a CD converted to FLAC - Free Lossless Audio Codec and used Roxio Toast to convert the flac to .wav checked the bit rate and 1411kbps - How good can things get!

    Here's a comparison
    Flac 30.5mb
    Wav 48.5mb [1411kbps]
    Mp3 11mb [320kbps]

CD Ripped Wav files should be 44.1khz Stereo 16bit, which basically equals 1411kbs

Nothing miraculous has happened when u converted to and from Flac I'm afraid.

flac is just a way of compressing wav without losing any quality (the lossless bit in the name)

cd audio is 44.1 16bit stereo exactly the same as wav as rg says...
