    Burning mixes

    Hi people.
    I'm having problems this side.
I have a few oldskool mixes on my HD and I drive for a living so I thought i'd burn a few audio cd's as my van only has a cd player, not mp3.
I bought decent Verbatim 90 minute discs and used the overburn facility on Nero.

Problem I have is I keep getting these bad clicking noises at certain parts of the recordings and sometimes my cd player just ejects and refuses to play the discs.

    Any help appreciated .

I'm guessing some players don't like anything over the usual 78mins of audio. Even if the pc can burn it, it might create errors if your pc drive can't cope properly, or maybe the car stereo.
I've got a stereo in the car which can play mp3 cds (basically a data cd full of mp3s). It's probably around 8 years old now and is starting to skip & go a bit funny, so if you were to get something else, I'd probably recommend something with a usb port - that way u could put loads of stuff on a usb stick
Just don't buy those tiny little usb sticks - I got one & it's broken already..

Another test u can do is shorten the mix to 78mins & burn the cd without overburn.
See if that stops the clicking - that way you'll know if it's the overburn.

What about something like this ??
FM TRANSMITTER FOR IPOD IPHONE TOUCH NANO CAR KIT RADIO | eBay UK

Bang all your mixes on a mp3 player.. plug in the FM transmitters and tune the radio in to it ;-)

I have one and it works a treat
