    Converting FLAC to WAV

Can anyone put me in the right direction how to do this please?

Remember, I'm useless at things like this so it would be very much appreciated if you put it in the most simplest of terms

    Good advice there Dodders

Seriously though Curly, Sound Forge is what you want. You can convert pretty much any sound format to any other, including flac. I can hook you up with a good working copy

you need to search the net for a programme,i use mp3 audio converter.
All you do is drag your files into the programme then switch the tag that says mp3 to wav

Was gonna suggest that as well Rog but didn't coz:

    1) the copy i got was a bugger to set up - not just key cracks n stuff but fooking around with dll files etc - without taking the piss i wasn't sure Curls would fancy it

    but more importantly....

    2) coz my answer was funnier

I had to convert a load of flacs to wavs last week, and didnt know how.
Thanks to patch (who pointed me in the right direction) I discovered winamp can convert them.
You can batch convert a load of files really quickly with winamp, I did about 60 files in 5 mins, very impressed.

Bigasoft released FLAC to WAV Converter to convert FLAC to WAV on Windows and Mac

FLAC (Free Lossless Audio Codec) is a lossless audio format. FLAC files are compressed in sizes without any loss of quality. However, FLAC files cannot be played on Windows Media Player, iTunes or QuickTime. FLAC format is not an ideal format for storing. Compared with FLAC, Waveform Audio File Format, with filename extension WAV, is uncompressed lossless audio format which provides pretty high quality sound as well as can be played on more portable devices. WAV format is an excellent format for storing files and playing on the go when you do not have space restrictions.

Therefore, converting FALC to WAV will be a better solution if you want to play your FLAC files on Windows Media Player, iTunes, QuickTime and much more portable devices and store them without any quality lossless.

Bigasoft FLAC to WAV Converter, available for both Windows and Mac computer users, offers easy and fast FLAC to WAV Converter with batch mode supported. In addition to converting FLAC to WAV, it can also convert FLAC to almost all audio formats such as Apple Lossless, M4A, AAC, WMA, and MP3 and so on.

Bigasoft FLAC to WAV Converter also provides a good editing tool. It is quite easy for you to join scattered audio together or cut off the unwanted parts, etc.
