Firstly - you can't remove distortion from audio - once it's on there, nothing can be done.

Secondly - are you recording the tape via a laptop?? Extra distortion will appear if you plug your tape deck into the 'Mic' Input - you should only record via the 'Line In' input. This maybe why you are getting a lot of extra distortion. Or you could just have your recording levels in your soundcard set too high.

Thank you for bother to answer.

It is to try to improve the sound of a tape recorded in the ´95 Club. If you listen to a cassette tape does not seem that there are
distorsion, but if raisins to mp3 becomes unbearable sound, loses much, but if I say that there is nothing to do, nothing more than is resignacion and save the tape in the vault to make last more years

As I said above, are you plugging your tape deck into the Mic In or Line In on the pc / laptop?
