Very recommended, the only thing is your have to sit there and manually stop the recording once the tape plays out. I haven't learnt to use Audacity yet and use the EZ converter, this is the simply version of the software bundled.
The hardware noise reduction is not too hot so don't expect it to take tonnes of tape hiss out from old recordings from 92 etc. The hardware noise reduction just seams to dub down the mid-range. If your tapes are good quality you’ll have no problems... 4 the money brilliant product.

This is the same as what msprim is looking at dogg, but she is looking in Argos and is over £20 cheaper than Amazon!!!

I got a lead off ebay for £1.99 - 3.5mm jack to jack - plug one end into your input line on your soundcard and the other into the headphone socket of your record/tape player and bob's yer uncle. Just wish I hadnae gotten rid of most of my rave tapes years ago!!!!
