    Quality Assistance Please?

Morning all, hope your well. The problem is that I've got a video of the eclipse T2 aircraft hangar event from 1990/91 (Ithink). Good video, but has been overplayed over the years. Roughly 20 years now! Am starting to feel old now!!! Problem is that I can probably mnage to get it uploaded but due to the nature of the tape 1. It might permanently snap while doping so. Sorry doing so, and 2. the picture and sound quality would be terrible. Is there anyway of enhanceing picture and sound once i've got it on my system?

    Many thanks

There is various software out there for tidying up video. Using various filters ect, a pretty good result is usually the case. But there is only so much you can do with an original source and usually the rule of thumb is, crap in, crap out.

Try this site http://www.videohelp.com for all your conversion, tips, tricks and software

i'd also say, make sure you use a decent encoder. ie. set to high bit rate and several passes. Not doing so will make any cleaning even harder as it will be blocky.
