Thread: Password problems!

Well i never... I've got the PC at my place & thought i would have a crack at it today.

I tried pressing F8 to get to the safe mode screen but when i did that the screen just went blank & nothing happened for 5 minutes... Tried it a few times & same problem

So i put in my Genuine XP disc to do a repair & all it did was a disc check & straight to the bloody login screen with the password that none of us know

I'm downloading one of those password cracking iso images which i'll burn to disc & try that... It had better bloody work or i'll have to eat my ankle in despair

I can't get to the BIOS screen to change the boot up to go for the disc drive before the hard drive & it's winding me up something proper

Losing the admin password is a bit of a complicated issue. There are some recovery tools you can use to reset it, but it can be a bit tricky. Some are listed here: reset windows xp password
