    Plasma TV Advice...

We were given an HD plasma TV a couple of months ago and finally got round to setting it up yesterday. Picture was perfect and all seemed to be ok.. However, have turned on this morning and alot of the picture was blue. Turned off and on again and the picture is fine (has done a couple of times today so far)

Have looked on the web this morning and most 'blue' issues seem to be where the plama has burned and it is a permanent blue spot.. These are not spots its the whole picture.. Could this be coz the TV has been turned off for a number of months and will be find, or is it knackered.. Watched TV on it all last night without any problems.

You can try watching "the incrdibles" dvd a few times this can correct the blue screen sometimes (i'm being serious too) - got this tip from another site or by just turning the tv off and then on.

But if the tv hasn't been in use for a few months leave it for a week or so plus do you have any speakers close to your tv Wigs? If you do move them as they will affect the picture on the screen. Once the speakers have been moved the picture will correct itself.

    I'll try the incredibles..

It's done it a couple of times today, but only from when it gets turned on. Turning it off and then back on again seems to sort the problem. There are no speakers near to it, so hopefully it's just where it hadn't been on for a few months.

Bloody TV has just gone blue again while we are watching it... might have to rent the incredibles tomorrow.

A few people have tried and it sorted the problem out for them - don't know why
