Thread: Scanning Letters then turning then to a document

wondering if anyone can help. Trying to update my Brothers CV without starting it from scratch. Ive scanned it but cant alter the wording or update as it come's out as a image not a word document. Do I have to change a setting on my scanner or do somthing on word to change the image to a document.
Be very gratefull for any advise.

You need some OCR software (which stands for Optical Character Recognition).
To be honest, you're better off typing it up as it won't be formatted properly even if you do manage to find some software to do it (and it doesn't always get the words quite right).
