Wiping my lappy and putting on Windows 7

Okay then people, my laptop needs wiping as it's slow as fook and I want to replace my Vista OS with Windows 7.

I know it's cheeky but I need a dummy's guide to wipe it, & how to install W7... and a few links to a genuine copy would be nice to

Obviously, I know that I have to back EVERYTHING up, which I have done.

    Cheers

My copy is absolutely bang on, no problems & ive been using it for a year now. I shall upload it for you if you like? I'll send you a CD image which you'll need to burn.

As far as formatting your HD is concerned, all you need to do is go into your bios, change the primary boot device to CD Rom, insert the win 7 CD, reboot & you will be given the option to format while installing win 7.

An ISO image would be ace mate. Maybe slot it up in the VIP?
Do I burn it onto DVD or CD?

Erm not sure, CD I think. It's on my external HD so I'll dig it out shortly & get on it

word of advice: i read very recently that Microshite have added an anti-piracy thing to 7 SP1. It won't let u update without verifying the o/s.
