    Mediafire Account

I have just created a new mediafire account, I am new to this so i dont really know how to use it.
I created a new folder, but when i clicked the 'Upload to this folder' button a message pops up saying 'Unable to retreive Uploader Configuration file'.

Any one got any ideas what to do?

Mediafire is a bit hit & miss imho sometimes it works other times it just kicks me out of my browser and stalls the laptop. a nice idea but a bit unreliable...

Contact Media Support and tell them what's happened - it's a bug which happens with some accounts - they fixed this problem for me - hope this helps

I tried this upload site earlier today - registered for a free account, but when uploading, most of the uploads just said 'Failed' next to them....
Thought I'd give them a go due to the 60 day limit now on rapidshare stuff, but if I can't even upload, then I'll probably just stick to RS for now.

Was a few hours ago when I tried.
Will give it another try in the morning as my internet keeps going off (probably due to the weather).

It's only a rare thing for me to have problems with mediafire this way. I've stopped using RS to upload now but will keep my account just for downloads.

    Get yourself on megaupload BB.

My RS account doesn't run out until about April time, so don't really wanna spend anymore out - plus all the sites I go on (for films etc) are all on RS. Very rarely do I see anything on MU to be honest, so not sure if it's an account I want.
I did have a look at alternative upload sites for tunes on here - so far all of them have some sort of limits on them. The unlimited free ones seem to have gone bust as when u go to their sites, it just has a holding page.

Media fire is free, easy to use and much less clicks to download files from, even there are some problems with uploads some times. still prefer it
