Thread: Mediafire not working today!!

I got a load of stuff to upload today, and i use mediafire, but the bastard isn't working today.
I uploaded 12 files to a new folder, viewed the files and they were there so i went to send the link on a
page here on iaaos, and the files had vanished. i attempted to re-upload the files and got the failure message.
I tried a different set of files to upload and got failure messages once again.
Is anybody else getting this error today, or is it just me, btw it usually works fine for me now i have got a new broadband provider (O2).

i havnt been able to upload to mediafire for ages, it always ends in an error crappy thing i use megaupload now

is it a free service, and is it reliable??

Me neither, but I'm having the exact same problem with megaupload aswell ~x(

Innit! The only reliable one for me these days seems to be zshare, but the upload speeds are bloody slow, I never get any more than 50kbps

FFs! i started uploading 12 mp3's with mega??upload (not very big ones) at 12:30 today and they still haven't finished!
will try again tomorrow with mediafire, maybe just a blip as it's usually pretty ok

I have constant problems trying to upload to Mediafire.

I've got an account with Rapidshare, but for people without an account, it's not very friendly.

There's also:

www.sendspace.com - pretty decent (hosts files for 30 days after the last download I believe).

www.zshare.net - good for clips (for IDs) but for downloads it's really slow & has a timer.

www.megaupload.com - good for very large files, but has a timer & limits per day.

I've been using Divshare for quite a while now, and as I've posted before, IMO it's the best free uploading site:

-Free
-Audio/Video preview without downloading
-Unlimited time on uploads
-25Gb of storage space ( I have 2 accounts)
-User friendly interface
-Automatically sorts files into genre
-Just 15 seconds to wait for a download

ISPs trying out some clever filtering process maybe? I have problems accessing Rapidshare from home (it says something about it constantly being overloaded) but it works fine from work.

Mediafire is letting me upload files to my account again! :ymparty:
