Thread: Mediafire...ODD Behaviour

Hi, I've been a user of Mediafire for a few years now, with little trouble until now.
Recently I have been trying to post links to single mp3's in my account but I post the link and check it after posting and the link goes straight to my entire pages of files, is anybody else getting this? or has Mediafire changed some settings or something.
I'm going over to 4shared for the time being until i resolve this issue..

You must be using the link to share your entire folder - if you don't want to share your folder click to make it private so no-one has access to the complete folder. Once that's done, click on the private folder link and then click on the tune links you wish to get links of to put on sites and then copy and paste the links that way

If the folder is private people can still download the links you put on sites from it

I think mediafire has been changed round a bit and has changed default settings.
will change my settings later

It can be a right pain in the arse - they should notify people when they do this
