    Mediafired!

Is it just me or is Mediafire extracting the urine with all the bloody pop-ups?

Every time i click on a link the first thing that pops up is a 'bulk download upgrade to Pro' window that i have to close & then some other poxy spam window pops up over the MF one & when i click to close it another window pops up saying 'Leave this page?' to which i click yes & then i can finally click the link for the download.

I was toying with the idea of getting a pro account on MF but i don't know if the pop ups will still occur? My browser has the pop-up blocker on & yet i still get shitloads of pop-ups

I find everytime I click the download link I get mainly one 'pop up' window that I quickly close, then I get the open/save file option. This has been occurring for so long now I've kinda just got used to it; but it is annoying, I too have my pop up blocker on yet these smarmy rogues get through...........it is tedious

If i download 3 files without closing the pop-ups i have 6 extra windows to close, which i'm sure will slow my speed down & it's just a pain in my ass having to close them... There's a folder i want to download about 50+ files from :-

I just close them down before I do anything else...there is a delay in the time between the pop-up ad and the open/save file box so it's nae problem....except it's damn annoying! No point in having unneccessary things piling up and slowing things down........they are turds and they need to be scraped off the shoe and put in the trash!!

Pray, what is this folder ye speak off brethren?!

It's worth it really, especially if you really rely on it for storage. Files aren't deleted, no pop up's and that warm feeling you get inside knowing you are doing "your bit" I pay yearly rather than monthly and as far as I know it's about £55 a year, not much at all considering what you are getting which is a unlimited amount of HD space for all your files, safe and secure.

just use a download manager like this - jDownloader - Download

it grabs any links you copy to your clipboard and downloads them for you, it also extracts them as well if they are rar or zip files. All free, no popups and works on almost every download site there is

I know what you mean, although for a source of endless free material at the click of a button I can't complain really!

I use that for Filsonic links (I have a premium account ) but it's a great piece of software.

It's great, especially if you want to download a full folder on mediafire, just copy the folder url and it downloads everything in there (gotta be careful with that though, I once downloaded half of CR3's folder by mistake, lmao).

It's great for these stupid sites that make you wait X amount of time between downloads too, must have saved me hours of faffing around since I've been using it......

Slightly off topic, I read through MF's policies the other weekend and they don't approve of 'warehousing', i.e. large storage of files without any d/ls, Pro user or not, so be careful.
Think I've got away with it for a year+ because there's been over 4000 downloads!

You've got far too much time on your hands

Getting back on topic i downloaded jDownloader (not through the link provided here with some weird program that collects data about your internet usage) but from the official site

And left it overnight & woke in the morning to 5.79 gigs of tunage
