Thread: Rapidshare down?

Anyone else not been able to access Rapidshare this weekend, or is it just me?

Can't get to any files, or even the home page....?!

Weird thing is - I'm staying at my girlfriend's parents house after a year travelling with her.

They got a really fast internet connection but...megaupload and rapidshare simply can't be found!

The browser sits there trying to find the sites but never does - it doesn't time out or anything like that, just sits there searching forever.

Mediafire is fine.

Makes me wonder if their router is somehow blocking these sites?

I didn't have any problems with the same laptop while travelling, so I don't think it's anything to do with this PC.

Have also tried using different browsers...same result though.

Try clearing your cache and history.

Needed to add the following to the hosts file on my c drive (c:/windows/system32/drivers/etc/hosts):

195.122.131.46 rapidshare.com

69.5.88.211 www.megavideo.com
69.5.88.211 uk.megavideo.com

rapidshare is down quite often recently , bah i dont use it that much anymore anyway
