Thread: Rapidshare help.....

Try to download this yesterday but it didnt come up in my download box, & Now all i get is this why & where is it downloading (I'm on a mac)

Are you using a router at all? if you are, unplug the router for 10 seconds, clear your internet cache and try again. You should be sorted.

China is right I had that a little while ago. Turn your router off and on again and you will be ok.

Should i delete cookies aswell!

No sure, I deleted my cookies before someone suggested to turn the router off.

It won't hurt if you do. You might as well cover all angles. But the router thing should do it.

You know mate, perhaps taking out a premium account is worth it. I have one and it's one of the best moves I ever made. It doesn't cost much. It may be worth considering.

Mine more or less pays for itself. I earn points everytime someone downloads something from me and those points add up and get you free months ect. In the 3 years (just over) i've been on RS, I've paid twice.

This happened to me the other month but it wouldnt let me download anything on Rapidshare & was like it for a couple of days & then it was fine again.Weird!!

Depending who u have your ISP with, sometimes u share your IP with someone else, so if they've used rapidshare, it'll also think u have - hence the problem.

If you've had no luck & the link still works, I can download it & put it on mediafire or sendspace.

Its gone now very strange!

Ah but you have a ridiculous amount up there! I'm not quite so lucky! Managed to extend for a couple of months here and there but generally I end up paying to keep my links alive. My account is currently tickety boo while August 2009.

You can try going through an internet proxy - often works for Mediafire. Try http://proxy.org/cgi_proxies.shtml and select one of the many free ones available. Takes no time to reroute through an internet proxy. A different Proxy will change your IP address so Mediafire/Rapidshare thinks you are someone different. Use a different Proxy for differnt links and you can di dual downloads all day long!

But to be honest I do recommend getting an account - I was like you and didnt want to pay but in the end bit the bullet - use it quite a lot now for uploading and d/l. You can use Freedownload Manager for Rapidshare too - makes life very easy for multiple links and queuing traffic. http://www.freedownloadmanager.org/
