Thread: Rapidshare - How To Download Batches of Files [Acc Users Only]

A fine program I've been using which gets around the crap RS download manager.

Program is called: Downloadstudio.

(*** Replaced the link as it had died - this link is from another page on that site - so it's not tested ***)

Install.
Paste the crack file into the install directory (should be C:\program files\conceiva\downloadstudio etc etc)
The click the crack, click patch - This makes it fully working.

Load it up, download multiple files (if u have several links at once - make sure u Ctrl C the links first from where ever you're grabbing them from).
I had to then click 'Expert' - the links auto pasted themselves in & started checking them off to make sure they're valid / active (it'll say Text/html if they're broken).
Once that's done, click the next / download / start button & off it'll go

It'll download stuff (on default I think) to C:\my documents\downloads - but this can be altered in the settings.

no matter what i put in to it it keeps sayin its a HTML/Text file even when i know the links not broken.
and also when i just use the normal downloader it gives a me a load of shite about it cant download it and that i should download it proper from the website ~x(

It should only do that for dead links... I get it fairly often on movies as a lot of people put the real name of the film in the link, so it gets found easily and deleted.

Are u getting this message with Rapidshare links or others?? I don't get much luck with other download sites as they use different timer methods.

Hmmm, will have to test this later on - I haven't put my RS account details into the program & it works fine, but maybe it's finding the RS cookie on the pc .
Will report back once tested.

Sounds like it's found your cookie - would be v. interested on the result bb - as I do not have an RS account

Yeah i was trying it with ony rapidshare links and was just saying html/text all the time and if i pressed download i would get the HTML shortcut the page the download was on. As for the cookie i will see if i can delete it and then try it and see what happens

so wats the story man does it work for you? Dying to get it going as i'm downloading stuff from there at 49.1KB

I removed the cookie (by logging out). Don't work

And now the really annoying thing is even though I've logged back in, it still won't work!!! ** Edit - sorted - now I reset the browser (with being logged in) it now works for me again.

But looks like u need an account to make it work.

ahh shit. Yeah i'd love a proper account and it be the first thing i'd buy but not got no paypal or bank account so its outta the question. I'll keep my eye out for another tool like it. Just finshed downloading a link that was 66MB took 23 mins running at 47KB and still have to more to go.
