Thread: Uploading photo's or pictures

I really want to know how to up photo's of pictures on here so I would be proper grateful if someone could tell me how to do it.
Bear in mind i'm not the most technically minded so explain in ley- mans terms please

find the image you want on the net and copy the address from the address bar and paste in into your post then highlight it and press the button that says Img on the top of the box were you write.

or click upload attachment at the bottom of the screen if you wanna up some pic from yer pc, its just that easy

Grrr still won't work!!

I've tried to up one of my photo's but it's saying 'The file is too big, maximum allowed size is 256 KiB' How do I re-size? cheers .

to resize ya need a program for that as far as i know mate i'm not totally 100% sure so i wont offer any advice as it might be wrong and a waste of time in the end ya know.

You can use the upload attachment button next to options at the bottom, click on that & then it will say choose file ,choose file you wont to upload & then add file, then place photo in line!

If the picture is to big use this to shrink it..

For your own pics, you need to upload the images first to some webspace (as u can't just point to them on the pc).

I use a site called http://www.photobucket.com - free to join. You then use that site to browse to pics on your pc & upload them onto that site.
Once on there, it'll give u links to paste onto forums like this so that they appear.

The upload attachment thing within the forum itself has a filesize limit (as it has to then store it on the sites space rather than yours - and it doesn't want too much clogging it up).

And finally, a pic on the web u may like - right click it, properties (on IE), copy the link & paste it into a thread on here. Wrap it around with this coding:

(img)(/img) - with your link in the middle (change the brackets to the square type : [ ] )
