Welcome to this month’s IAAO email

The nights are drawing in, the clocks have gone forward and the days and nights are getting colder. What does this mean? Nothing, I just thought it was a nice opener.

Some of the forum structure will be changing soon. The download sections will remain the same but the chat sections and a few other sections will either be added to or reduced to make more sense and to make it look less cluttered. There are quite a few forums which aren’t used that much and some are used all the time, so it’s just a case of deciding what goes where and what will be gone.

The front page will also have an overhaul and be tidied up and made neater and more structured. It’s our landing page for most new comers and it would make sense to make it more detailed, yet simplified. Time permitting for all this of course as I will have a new baby daughter coming in 7 weeks’ time (it takes that long to ship them from China)

I’m continuing to cull lots of members, either by deleting them or taking away their download privileges. The site now does this automatically and will search for members who either haven’t posted in 4 weeks or haven’t made any posts since joining the site. Lots of members have already fallen foul to this new tool I have installed, don’t be the next victim. Al it takes to avoid this hassle to you is to make a post every day or week. You just have to remain active to avoid the software signalling you out.

You can catch my next monthly show on Renegade Radio on the 15^th November, more details of this will be posted in the club nights and radio events section soon. If you haven’t tuned into Renegade for a while then make sure you check it out soon as the genres being played now by some fantastic DJ’s is very diverse. From oldskool to Techno, Trance to House, you can more or less find everything you need and remember to pop into the chat room for some friendly chat and banter from the regulars in there.

The paranoid boys have been working hard in the studio to bring you more musical masterpieces and hot off the press is Paranoid Recordings Volume 5. You will be able to order your copy in mid-November but for a sneaky peak on what’s to come then check out this thread: Paranoid Recordings Vol 5 - Teaser Clips (Available for Ordering Mid November) Show your support to these guys and get those orders in. It’s the hard work and dedication of guys like this that keep a scene alive.

If you are starting to feel a little festive then don’t forget we have a festive theme for you to browse the site with. All you have to do to use it is scroll to the bottom of the main forum and to the left you will see a little drop down menu for selecting a theme, choose Christmas 2010 as your theme and you will be whistling Jingle Bells before you know it.
