Welcome to this weeks IAAO email

This week has seen new posts, bots/spiders, media libraries, 10 second waits for page loads, facebook moans and new blogs. The fun never ends.

The biggest change this weeks has seen the introduction of a media library. What is this amazing new thing I hear you cry? well it's a brand new part of the forum where you can post and store all your media/videos from all the popular sites out there like youtube. It's a fantastic add on to the site that you should really take a proper look at and get to grips with it. Gone are the days of page after page of tunes of the day where by you lose all track of what has been someones tune of the day, now they are all laid out neatly in one place. One important change we are thinking of bringing in is the removal of the 10 post rule to access the download sections. Please take some time to reach this post and vote in the poll on whether you want to see it remain or you want it removed: http://www.its-all-about-oldskool.co...st-rule-14980/ the result will be looked at this Friday (16th July 2010) and how ever the vote has gone we will go with it, so please get those votes in as soon as you can (standard members on less than 10 posts can not vote on the poll)

The forum has been going through a few slow fazes at certain times. There could be a few reasons for this, but the average post time and waiting time is around 10 seconds. I will try and do a few site optimizations this week to see if it improves, if not I will speak to my hosting company to see if there is anything that can be done.

If you are still having trouble after doing what it tells you in that post then please get in contact with me by using the "contact us" button at the bottom of the forum and I will do all I can to get you back on the forum.
