Welcome to this week’s IAAO email.

After an extra-long break due to me being in China, the weekly email is back once again for your reading pleasure.

Yes I had a wonderful time in China, thanks for asking. I also got some very happy news the day before we flew out and that is the Mrs is expecting our first child. It’s due at the end of December. We are both thrilled to bits and I’m already planning on what oldskool clobber to get him/her.

Before I get on with things I have some very important news to share with you, and I’m in need of your help. One of our members’ txtpest had a very worrying time for a while with his sister who got very ill. She is getting better but she has a particular illness now which sadly there is no known cure for. She has a great family and wonderful friends supporting her. The word needs to be spread about this illness to as many people as possible so more people can learn about it and support it. There is a dedicated facebook page all about it and all I ask you to do is click on the link, click like and share it on your walls for others to like. I upgraded the forum last week to the latest version. All went well and one of the nice new features is the new posting box. You can find out about it here: The Brand New Posting Editor

Over the coming weeks I’m going to be tidying up the site a little. One of the changes will be the removal of the media library. This is the place where you can post videos and such. I did have big plans for it but sadly it’s not really being used that much. I still think it’s a great idea but sadly it’s not taken off the way I would have liked it too.

A couple of sections will also be departing the site, one of them being the music documentary section. Again this is not really being used that much and all that stuff can really go in the music chat section.

Before I head off it is competition time. There will be 2 winners this week and the prize for each person is a 1 month premium account for Filsonic: FileSonic, fast and easy file storage. which is a file storage and file sharing site like rapidshare and mediafire.
