Its All About Oldskool Weekly Email (17th April 2011)

Welcome to this week’s IAAO email.

I’ve been quite busy this week so I haven’t had time to prepare an opening piece, so I will just dive straight into the latest site news.

In the last hour (as I’m writing this, obviously if you read this in a year it will be a year old) I have added a new background to the forum. It’s just an experiment really and may change or be taken away. But any page you browse on the site you will see a background image. The image in question is a flyer collage that Haze (a member on here) did quite a while ago. Thanks to him for making it.

Nik-Gnashers shared something last week on the joke and funny stuff section. It is the funniest thing you will read in a very very long time. I urge you to have a look. You can find the info here: http://www.its-all-about-oldskool.co...genuine-18820/

For those that don’t already know (or care) but my latest show on Renegade happens this Tuesday (19th April) you can find the details here: Log in | Facebook and here: http://www.its-all-about-oldskool.co...-2011-a-18809/

The long Good Friday charity event happens this Friday (22nd April) on Renegade Radio. It’s a 4 day event for charity and I will be playing a set on Friday 22nd April between 2pm & 4pm. Any donation over £5 to the charity during my show will see that person get a VIP pass to IAAO. This is a very worthy cause and all the money raised goes to this year’s charity of choice. You can find the details of my show here: Its All About Oldskool VIP Passes On Renegade Radio Long Good Friday Charity Event

Dodders will also be doing a very special show and is auctioning off some of his vinyl. Again the proceeds of this go to charity. It’s a massive thing for anyone to be selling their vinyl and all credit goes to dodders for doing such a selfless act. Please make sure you lock on to his show on Monday 25th April. You can find out all the details here: Dodders BIG Vinyl Auction - PLEASE READ THIS!!

The whole 4 day Easter weekend on Renegade is full of special shows all for charity and if you haven’t already, then check out the FB page here: Log in | Facebook and on IAAO here: Renegade Radio Presents: Long Good Friday Charity Event, Episode 4 - A New Hope come and join the fun if you aren’t working and remember it’s all for charity.

Next week’s email will be the last one for a few weeks as I’m off to China. Try not to miss it too much and if you do, just look at some old one’s here: Weekly Email

    Have a great week,

    China.

if I may be bold, could you leave that background there? I noticed it about an hour ago and thought it was a special privelige I had earned that's a great addition to the site, enjoying that

It can stay for the time being, i've certainly got no plans as of yet to do away with it. It makes things look a little more colourful, especially when logging on to the site as you can see it in it's full glory.
