Welcome to this weeks IAAO email.

August already, can you believe it? this year has flown by. It's hard to believe that it's been 5 months since our first birthday and the huge free party that was put on by some of the regular members here in Birmingham.

Just a quick not to remind you that Thrash has decided to let members ask him questions. You still have till tomorrow (2nd August 2010) to get those last minute questions in. Find out how here: http://www.its-all-about-oldskool.co...81/#post123976

A new section has been added to the media part of the forum, Rock Tune Of The Day. This is a section away from the forums and it's just a place to post videos. If you haven't seen this great feature yet, then check it out here: Its All About Oldskool - Media Library

A New update to the software (4.06) is going to be out any day now and this will mean the site will shut for around 30 mins while this is done. I will try and do it during the night so it won't cause any disruption to the day shift members, so this is just a little pre-warning about it.

The new season is nearly upon us, but what are your top 5 predictions for this season? who will be the top 5 in the premiership this year? let us know what you think here: http://www.its-all-about-oldskool.co...ictions-15397/ and don't forget, the IAAO FF league is still open for new managers who think they have the know how to take on some of the other members, are you up for the challenge? get involved here: http://www.its-all-about-oldskool.co...ll-call-15117/

Lots more new labels went up this week and just when I thought I was making a dent in the labels without a home section. Every time I move some, more go in their place. But I am slowly but surely making inroads into the section. Thanks to all who have added new labels.

The user domj has added some very special live sets into the oldskool sets section, so don't forget to take a look and see what he's put there. Thanks go to him for taking the time to get them on here.

Don't forget to tune into the Curl & Swipezster show this week on the number one oldskool radio station renegade radio. They have a very special guest mixer this week. You can catch it between 6-8 this Thursday (5th August 2010) and if you missed last weeks blinding show which featured the MC'ing skills of the legend that is Gershwin, then you can download it here: Curly & Swipezster Show (29-07-2010)

Have a great week.
