1. Never disrespect any member of staff. What they say goes. The Its All About Oldskool staff are here to help and make sure the site runs smoothly, even if you do not agree with all their decisions, you must try to follow and respect any instructions or guidelines laid out by them.

2. Please try and make all new members feel welcome. We all know how daunting it is when joining a new place. The warmer the welcome the more likely they are to stay.

3. We reserve the right to remove any topics we deem inappropriate or disruptive to our community. Feedback and constructive criticism are fine, but using this as a mask to create upset and to give the site a bad name will not be tolerated.

4. Respect each other and opinions. We do not censor opinions or ideas on our forum but we will take action against posts and/or topics that could cause unrest in the community beyond a civil and polite disagreement.

5. Do not make personal attacks on other users or staff members either in public forums or private messages. We reserve the right to ban any member who does this. We will be fair and provide a warning in most cases.

6. If you have an issue concerning our forum, policies, or staff, please send a private message to a staff member. All administrators and moderators are highlighted in Red and Green in the members list. We take serious complaints to heart and will do our best to address them.

7. Spamming is not permitted; please keep all your posts as constructive as possible. The administrators and moderators will delete posts which they deem as spam.

8. Please post in the correct forum. We have made the site as simple as possible to follow, each forum has a description which tells you what can be posted in there. If you are unsure, look at the other topics in that particular forum to get a general idea of what goes in there. If your topic is placed in the wrong forum, it will be moved by a moderator or administrator.

9. Certain forums, in particular the music forums have dedicated rules which are highlighted in pink at the top of that forum, read them and follow them. If these rules aren't followed, the moderators or administrators may move, lock or even delete your post. If a topic is recognized as being posted in the wrong forum, or if the post is a violation of our guidelines then please contact a moderator or administrator either via PM or by using the 'report post ' feature; please do not respond publicly to the member - a member of staff will do what is required upon contact.

10. If you put something in the download sections and it isn't yours, then say so by giving credit to the original up-loader, do not put our password on the upload if it isn't yours to do so. Similarly, if you take a link from here and post it on another forum, then at least give credit to either the up-loader or say where you got it from. If you are caught breaking this rule you will get a warning, if you get caught again, you will be banned. Link stealing will not be tolerated.

11. Have fun and join in, get involved in the community. Inactive members and those who log in on a daily basis but do not contribute to the forum in any way risk having their account downgraded, suspended or deleted. We monitor inactivity and will take the appropriate action when necessary.

Violation of any of these rules will result in consequences determined on a case-by-case basis. Thank you for choosing Its All About Oldskool and we hope you enjoy your stay.
