XL are the ones that have mucked up the digital release - even their vinyl repress had the wrong version on!

As for black velvet - it's a bootleg label, hence the crap quality.

And 30,000 is still a hell of a lot of sales needed.

    I'm up for it!

Ive just received an email from Sam @ Radioactivefm AKA Dj Naughty that Spirit Of 89 is a Dj and is joining our playlist along with Move Ya.That's a bonus.

I know the Black Velvet's are bootleg's unbelievably poor rip's aswell, what a waste of an oppurtunity to get them cut properly by talking to the producer's as Sublogic and 92 Retro do.I also know what your saying about 30,000 being a huge amount but even if the track got into the chart's would be a bonus for 69 pence to hear an old school classic on the airwave's at work would be ledgend.Surely there's enough Old School movement to make this happen.

Wasn't the full mix of Dub War Chapter 1 also released on Metamorphosis?

    Yes - vinyl only.

The full length mix (cd wise) is only on the original cd single & the US XL album :

I only suggested this was hoping someone with connections and in the know would take it on.I emailed all the download sites to get them to upload the correct mix or contact XL to obtain the correct mix but never received anything back.I suppose they figured there wasn't enough money to be made and it would all be to much hastle for them.
I have the Metamorphosis release which has the correct version on it would have been an awesome tune to achieve this with as it has everything.I still think it could be done maybe not number 1 but definatley in the charts but my organisation skillz are useless plus my short term memory loss well i would have forgot about this the following week,
what was i talking about............................................. ..................

This is a great idea, all it would need is the right tune and a good facebook group to take off. Last year there was that anti x-factor campaign for christmas number 1... how about trying the same thing but with an old skool tune instead
