Thread: Posting Singles

Was just wondering if it's worth considering making it compulsory to post up a discogs link with a tune as well as stating the bit rate.It does make things a lot easier & a lot tidier in my honest opinion. O:-)

What do you think?

I can stick it in the rules but it's hard to enforce mate. Some people either forget, are too lazy, or don't bother reading rules before posting. It's the same thing with the bit rate. Some folks do it religiously, but others never do it and it can be a very time consuming job checking all posts every single day for stuff like links inside posts.

I'll tell you what would be a good idea, A Youtube Link if possible!

Again mate, some people would happily do it, but getting others to do it is another matter.

Yeah, one of the new users did this recently. I thougth that was a very good idea.
I forgot to do it myself though since then

I think adding a youtube link & discogs info everytime would be a nice touch, but at the same time if you're not familliar with the tune it's simple enough to look it up on youtube & discogs yourself. As long as the bitrate's posted I'm happy with that But as it is some people don't even do that, I guess it's just a matter of getting used to doing it. When i first joined up here I didn't post the bitrates, but it's second nature now

drk_jnglst posted up a single yesterday with a YT link - very good say I :ymapplause:

I always add a Discogs link anyway - I think being helpful in this respect will prevent a lot of 'blind' downloading B-)
