Thread: Signatures

While looking at the site at work, which is on a full screen monitor, I noticed the sheer scale of some peoples signatures. They more or less filled the whole screen and take your eyes away from what is actually being said in a thread. Looking at this site on my phone was a complete waste of time because signatures are so big.

With that in mind I'm going to limit the size of signatures on the site to make it much easier on the eyes and less annoying.

The signatures Steve has done for the members here is a perfect size which is 600x100 and I will change it to this limit very soon.

So those of you with signatures larger than this will either have to re-size them, or get a new one within those dimensions.

Theres loads of sites such as http://resizepic.com/ where you can resize pictures.

I think 600x100 is ample..

Yes, you are a grass :p

The reason there is still large sigs is because those sigs were already on the site before the change. The change itself only affects those that try and put a sig on here now

Think this needs looking at again. Some of the sigs on here are ridiculously large and there's too many of them in some members' signatures.

Some of them even slow the page down when it's loading.

On a serious note, I agree..

I miss my 'Swipezster' decks

I thought mine were too big... But that's the size they appeared when i added them, i can remove the 2 gifs off my sig if they are too big

New rules and restrictions will be coming soon about this folks

It's just to keep the site running smoothly for everyone and to keep sigs to in a way to please everyone. It's good to have them on the site but it's not good when they shadow the site and make it look a mess and slow it down.

Although Leon's PARTY HARD animated gif sig had us in stitches at work - one of our colleagues is the spit of him
