Thread: Site Downtime This Friday (25th June 2010) Into Saturday (26th June 2010)

This is just a heads up to let you know the site will close late Friday Evening (25th June 2010) into Saturday (26th June 2010)

This is due to some essential maintenance work and a server change (don't worry, the site won't be down for 2 weeks)

I don't actually have to shut the site for this all to happen but it's just to be on the safe side and won't result in anything going wrong or weird things happening.

We should be back some time on Saturday, or as soon as humanely possible...

Well it's took me all day to get past that bulletin message page but i'm here now.

I think a few people may have had this Waard.

When you transfer name servers it can take 24-48 hours to fully make the change. I noticed yesterday that I could get on, but last night, it reverted back to the old nameservers, although I could get on this site on my phone, so I know everything was fine.

There are a lot of computers in the world and a lot of IP's and ISP's. It just takes a while for all of them to fully catch up.
