Hello people
My name is Tim from Liverpool.
It was around '92 that I got into rave music, I was only 14/15 at the time me and my mates would listen to Fantazia and Amnesia House mixtapes from one of their older sisters, the strange spacey drum and bass driven tunes had me hooked instantly.
Stu Allen Key 103 was listened to religously along with our local pirate station Zee 100 (rip).
My first rave was at The Hard Dock at the age of 16, a strange place - intimidating to a non regular, an old warehouse converted into a club, I haven't actually heard a PA system louder than the Dock in all my life =p~ the tunes played there were amazing, we frequented there nearly every week until it shut down after the re-furb.
Other regular raving spots were Club Kinetic on a Friday, Vibealite in the Bradford Baths, Judgement Day in Newcastle.
I really miss my raving years and miss what was for me a way of life.
A site like this brings back all the great memories and feelings from the past!
