    Howdo all =)

    Afternoon everyone,

Jonny, 28 from Blackpool UK. Started listening to underground dance music in my early teens, beginning with happy hardcore, moving on to hard trance and hardcore techno, with a lean towards acid techno every now and then. Got hold of some decks shortly after I started listening to this style of music and have been mixing purely as a hobby ever since really. Did a short stint as an MC at a few underage nights at The Mill in Preston when I was about 15 or 16 which I am so glad they didn't record as I was terrible!

Not one for travelling the country to visit events, I can't impress with an attendance log as long as my arm but I think I only missed one event from Bowlers in Manchester when it re-opened with the Compulsion events and the associated Helter Skelter nights that followed. Speaking of HS, I also attended the Millenium Jam in MK, for my sins.

Favorite years? Probably the hard trance between 95 & 99

Favorite DJs? Mark EG, M-Zone, Vortex, Producer, Fergus, Sharkey, Ribbz,

Favorite MCs? There can be only one name here at the top spot really. The mighty Ribbz. Also like Sharkey, Eazy, Squidgy B, Natz, MC NRG

What am I doing here? Towards the end of last year I picked up a few old tracklists and decided that my vinyl collection should really contain all the tracks I used to listen to when I was younger. So I started hunting down tracklists to my favorite sets and began a likely long and expensive relationship with Discogs. During one of my many sweeps of the interweb looking for updates to tracklists, or replies to my track ID requests, I stumbled across this site's newsletter and popped my head in for a look.

Right, I'll not bore you lot any longer. I'd best go read the FAQ section before I start asking stupid questions.

Maybe I'll bump into some of you in the forums.

    Cheers

    Jonny
