I once heard you didn't like Jamiroquai & would often slag him off for wearing a 'technicolour dreamcoat' when he was on your label??

    Any truth in this?

    Hi Morgan,
I was a b-boy here in the UK from 83-87, and had every streetsounds electro release (on cassette !) they were a massive part of my life.
1-6 were absolute classics, and I still love the selection of tracks on those
I swapped over from the hiphop to house in 87, and went onto the rave scene, and tbh I never liked any hiphop after about 1990 (all went a bit too gansta' for my liking), but the streetsounds albums were so much more than hiphop with lots of electro and other styles too, it really opened my ears to a lot of new music.
wikki wikki wikki wikki wikki !

Tune in to me sundays 6-8pm - www.renegaderadio.co.uk

    You rock!

    Hi Morgan,

Your original Electro compilations were the sound track to my youth.
The NU Skool one are good too. I got the first 3 so far.

I've always wanted to make compilations, i have some wicked selections, maybe suggest some one day?

    respect

    Rob

    Welcome.

Reminds me that I need to listen to my Street Sound Electro albums again.

An inspirational label got me hooked on a whole genre.

    Cheers for the tunes.
