I cannot narrow it down to 1 set,I have a number of favorite Djs HMS ,loftgroover, Producer, dolphin ,3 Dom Mzone Mark eg Loads more could be here all day all have done really good sets over the years

Here are a few of my favourites, there are loads more from more local raves I have been to but these sets stick the most.

Easygroove 3/12/93 Helter Skelter - Quite possibly the best set I have ever heard in terms of both track selection and mixing ability.
Ratty @ Dreamdance 1993 - Wicked misture of a dark tracks and some anthems and the mixing is spot on.
Slipmatt Quest 1993 - Amazing tunes from start to finish.
Seduction 'Fantazia Showcase' 1992 - Wicked tunes and absolutely flawless mixing.
Top Buzz Amnesia House book of love - Amazing set, nuff sed!!
Carl Cox @ Dreamscape 6 - Could listen to this set over and over, some of the mixing at times is abit off but the tuneage on this set is top notch.

Top Buzz @ Dreamscape 2 - IMO the BEST top buzz set ever and mad p is totally on
form.

yeah i agree dj sy at concept club was one of if not the best set of all time.

Best set for me was Ratty - Dance Nation Summer Ball 1992

Top buzz nye91 was a great set (especially compared to their set hours earlier at big bad head) but for me Ellis dee's was even better and better still was that of easygroove and Lisa!

hard to pin down like so man others....DJ Die/Jody with MC Joe Peng at Universe M/B/S, September 1992 is probably the one though....I remember someone from college lending me the tape and I would just listen to it over and over....and years later when I redicovered it on the Net I had that same feeling re-emerge.....magical.

Like Haze I also have a fondess for Easygroove's Fantasia N/Y/E set 1992...Littlecote House. From the moment off we're in the Easygroove's hands....pure devastation with these manic tunes, uptempo and mixed like a beast....Easygroove dominates!

The N/Y/E Top Buzz set from '91 is another tremendous set....gritty, hard and indomitable, the tunes are soaring. The atmosphere is relentless.

Easygroove's set again at Fantasia's Second Sight is also brilliant...lots of tunes quickly exchanged....underground stormers, piano and hard-ass hoovers and Techno. Another set that feels crammed with 500 tracks; although obviously thats not the case!!

Very difficult decision to make this as I probably have around 20 sets that I class as my best ever. I don't usually listen to sets anymore as I prefer the sound quality of a decently ripped tune instead but I have been rinsing out my 20 favs on the iPod in the car over the last few weeks....

With that in mind, I'd say the one that I listen to most regularly & never seem to skip is Easygrooves first set from Fantazia Summertime. Such a shame that it was effectively a warm up set & only about 3000 people were in the venue at the time (it went up to about 16,000 by 2am)!! Awesome mixing & tune selection & the perfect jungle techno set for a sunny day, even now....

If we are talking best ever DJ set that you heard 'live' then I'd say it was a mix of Phantasy & DJ SS also from Fantazia Summertime. Reason being the energy from the crowd, the rhubarb & custards & an awesome 2 hours in both musical & mc'ing terms which is rare!!

Does anyone else find that most of their best sets list are made up of Easygroove ones?

my fave set at an event i was at was mongoose @ The Edge in 93, can't remember the event, but i was on before him and i would normally fuck off to the soundroom to smoke a joint after my set but i stood and watched his whole set, dancing liek a good 'un. he was a unique dj that never really made it that big in the midlands but was still great live

fave set on tape was Sasha 2 from the eclipse, the one with whitney housten->leftfield and sinead o'connor->d'shake's yaah (techno trance) aweseom tape, got the DOC on its, the klf, a superb mix up of tunages.

top buzz @ book of love. love that tape and never get sick of it.

I can't pinpoint any mix that is my favourite as i have many sets that i love from various events and djs although in my list are few from djs

I had to think a bit because I don't have tapes, but a mixtape that stood out for me bitd as a classic is one by Randall at the edge 1992, i can still remember a lot of the tunes and mixes and I haven't heard it for 15 years
