Thread: cloud 9 1st bday - canal club w'hmptn 27th june 09

I went to this night the other week (my 1st allnighter for a few yrs) and all in all I had a great time Although I was a bit dissapointed with the selection @ times! Cloud 9 boasts a "strict 89-93 policy" which is why i bought my ticket in the 1st place (aswell as the fact I'd been told what a good night they put on). Anyway Top Buzz stuck to the format, the guy upstairs who did a spankin good 8hr shift behind the dex also stuck to the format (RESPECT whoever you are!), but sadly quite a few of the other DJ's didnt! Mickey finn & Randall played quite alot of post '93 stuff right up to 97 - 99 WTF!!! AS I already mentioned I did have a TOP night & didn't let this spoil it as the atmosphere there was GREAT, I just wondered if anybody else here went to that night / or has been to any other cloud 9 nights & what their thoughts are......All I know is if Gavin Skitty Skitt (cloud 9 promoter) hasn't already had a word with the DJ's in question he dam well should!!! I'd be docking their pay
