I used to LOVE driving to Illegals was as much as a buzz as the Rave IMHO.

The only thing i did not like was getting out of the bloody parking after a big event, Fantazia "One Step Beyond" was a bloody nightmare we "lost" the car then spent what seemed like hours sitting in a line of traffic to get out, all the while trying to keep awake when everyone else in the cars were semi awake.

was normaly me that did drive................. and i preffered to drive!!

    why??

cos most of the boys i went with in the mid and late 90s were LIGHTWEIGHTS

if i drove, it was me that decided when we left, and when they wanted to go at 3/4am and i was still avin it large i used to go missing in the crowd for a while

i was still dancing then, not holding the walls up like i have done the last 10 years

Can't we have an option for those that didn't drive?

I didn't drive so this means nothing to me except remembering being gutted when people would leave early.

I once got lift home from the Tasco warehouse in a fiat uno with 8 people squashed into it, not sure that's relevant but anyway

i just remembered after my first rave i came with a couple of my mates and one drove home, i puked up my portion of chips in the back of his car on the way back. it was my 1st acid (purple ohm) and it had me baffled at the food counter at the eclipse, all the coins looked the same and the guy serving had to take the coins out of my hands well it a wasted £2 coz i chucked it into my mates ford cortina estates boot at terminal velocity.

another funny journey home was on the way back from milwaukees in a capri 1L with a 1.16 body kit on it yeah i know, but at the time was a cool(ish) car. anyhoo, first off the indicators stopped working. then then windscreen wipers....followed by headlights and heater. only then did the lad driving decide to turn the stereo off the car finally rolled to a stop about 1/2 mile from my house, and 4 miles from the drivers house. i was in foster care at the time and had to sneak back in, so there was no way he could come in and phone his dad at 7am so he walked home, still buzzing. it was summer so he had good weather. so good in fact, that he stopped on the side of the lane near his house to relax for a mo. he lay down and fell asleep in a park less than 5 minutes walk from his house. 9pm that night he woke up, still in the park.

this is where i give a massive big up to my mates who bothered to get there driving license at a younger age and i was able to blag lifts from.

i missed loads of parties cause i couldnt be bothered to get car legal.

still saying that i wouldnt of got so extremely nutted if i would of driven, and thats a bad thing.
