    Depends where you're from....

If you're a northern monkey it's likely you'll worship him as some scratchmaster piano anthem playing god, if you're from the south it's likely you've never heard of him....

I'd never heard of him until joining the tinterweb old skool forum revolution a few years back & even now, I've probably only heard about 5 of his sets....

I'll stick with Easygroove, he was a proper DJ....

Heard of Nipper, but can honestly admit to having none of his sets.....I don't think he was classified as a Hardcore DJ? Was from Manchester until the age of 11 Definitely not my God!

There's quite a few of his sets that are worth checking out, one I stumbled across was from Wigan Pier in '92 which was pretty damn good to be fair....

I'm sure some of the northern members will suggest other sets worth a listen....

Nipper is a legend. There is a set out there from (apparently, but I doubt) 1990 and that is a cracker.

The Phobia set has some superb scratching IIRC, or it could be the Ark one. The Wigan Pier one is also belting.

Nipper had it all. He understood the music and he knew what building a set was all about. He could scratch, he could chop or blend and he knew what tracks worked together. Genius.

I think that I've only heard a Sasha and Nipper tape once and it wasn't in a back 2 back scenario. Nipper was on before Sasha and thats it.
