    Ellis Dee

    DJ Ellis Dee

    Real Name: Roy Sidney Reid

    Profile:
When it comes to rockin' a party there's few DJs with more experience than Ellis Dee. From massive outdoor raves to dingy basement dives, he's been doing the business for well over a decade now, yet he's still searching out fresh music and is just as committed to injecting passion and energy into the dancefloor. It was back in the early days of wharehouse parties that he really made his name. Ellis Dee became a headliner at all of the big events like Perception World dance and Fantazia. As well as DJing, he also began to make his own music as part of Rhythm Section with breaks godfather Rennie Pilgrem, From acid house to hardcore to drum & bass and most recently breakbeat, Ellis Dee has always managed to stamp his own style on whatever he turns his hand to. This is one dj that has played all over the world at least three times and continues to do so. Ellis dee records on his own label, point break with co owner Syrus. TCR, as well as recording on various d&b projects with long time partner and fellow dj, Swan-e.

Huum, great guy. "One For The Ladies", from this release, is the track I played most on last weeks.

Decent bio. Just got 'For the Ladies' in the mail today. Also Swan-E Collusion/Satisfy My Love and Antix-45 Soundboy amongst others. Very happy.

His most underrrated tune in my opinion is i believe backed with lockdown, both great tracks although i think the use of the amen sample in i believe was a bit old fashioned for the time, still a good track none the less
Big up all crew no matter where ya comin from!
