.It got me well & truly hooked for life!

My first mixtape was this badboy way back in 1994....

LTJ Bukem @ The Edge (1993)
    Side A
    1/ Feelings - Wise Ones (F Project)
2/ Mystic Stepper (Feel Good) - Omni Trio (Moving Shadow)
    3/ 1000 Hertz (Mix 1) - DJ JBL (Ruff & Ready Records)
4/ Dubplate (Simply Rolling) - Wots My Code (Advance)
5/ Twisted Mentazm (Dubplate/Test Press?) - Bizzy B (Brain Progression)
6/ Gangster - DJ Peshay & Roger Johnson (2000AD Recordings)
7/ Dark III - Bizzy B (Whitehouse Records)
8/ Warped Science - Beyond The Future (Paradise Records)

    Side 2
1/ Warped Science - Beyond The Future (Paradise Records)
2/ Catch It - Peshay (After Dark Recordings)
3/ Bang The Drums - Tayla (Good Looking Records)
4/ Music (Happy Raw) - LTJ Bukem (Good Looking Records)
5/ Mine - Simon Bassline Smith (Absolute 2)
6/ Drummer Of Doom - Nookie (Legend Records)

I can remember being so enamoured with this and the other load of Edge mixtapes I had grabbed. The speed and heaviness of the mid-section just totally blew me away. The fact that the only tunes I had heard were 'Music' and 'Mystic Stepper' made it feel that I had just discovered a whole new avenue of music that had never seen the light of a compilation.

Great times and a tape that I still hammer on me iPod today!
