Thread: Good Oldschool events in the south?

Hello All I wondered if anyone could suggest any good events over the next couple of months. I play at an oldschool night in Antwerp, Amsterdam as we as a couple of local events, but as you guys seem really on it i wondered where you can recommend?

The last one was 15july and I missed it because my son had just been born, dont think er indoors would have appreciated me nipping out for a boogie.
they had billy bunter and slipmatt, with Faydz and a few others.
looked a good night.
That one was meant to be a one off reunion for the FruitClub that used to be in swindon.
But they had a good response to the night so put another on at end of september.
Cant wait...

its just a local party that night.Ill be playing funk,hip hop,oldschool etc.

I used to run one around which pulled in people from Luton, Bedford, North Herts area called Retroactive which i did with a mate about 3-5 years ago. Would love to start it up again, but just the costs are a bit silly. If I could find another good free/cheapish venue I'd do them tomorrow! But I got a bit sick of being let down so knocked it on the head for a bit and losing our venue was another kick in the gonads! I will get back to do some more parties, just can't be bothered on my own though...
